Special Announcement :

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ;

God is faithful! He does what he says he’s going to do, encourage people and help them grow in their faith in Him.

Three years ago, after the release of my first album, Heart of Hope, He gave me the opportunity to begin another project. My friend and author, Kathryn Mackel asked me to write a lullaby in her upcoming book, The Surrogate, which was being published by Westbow Press, a division of Thomas Nelson Publishing Company. Things went well and as she has written four more books with Westbow, Kathryn has asked me to continue to write for the characters in her novels. As a mom and local public school teacher, I am grateful for the chance to share these songs with a wider audience, both through these books and our websites: ( www.victoriajamesmusic.com and www.kathrynmackel.com).

As time has passed, God has helped me to write nine more songs to be included in my soon to be released project entitled, Art of Love. Some of the songs groove and some soothe. All speak to the theme of love. Friends, family, and fans are gathering on Saturday, September 16 th at Windham Baptist Church to celebrate the completion of this project. Again, it’s wonderful to have the opportunity to invite you and your local body of friends to come hear what God has been doing in developing this ministry.

Would you consider helping me get the word out about the event? Perhaps you know some people who may be interested in coming. I have certainly enjoyed playing out in the local area these past three years and have met many wonderful people. Thank you so much!

It is my hope that God will bring people in that night that need to be encouraged. I pray that the Author of Love will be present and that He is honored in this endeavor.

If you have any further questions, you can contact me or my home church,Windham Baptist Church in Windham, Maine @ 892-3652 or wbcoffice@windhambaptistchurch.org. Thank you for your time.

God Bless You!
Victoria

News from Victoria :

Have you ever felt a loss? Perhaps one so terrible that it drives you away from others that love you? My newest song is birthed in Kathryn Mackel's adult fiction book called "The Hidden". It's a story about a parent who has lost a child and buries her grief in her work. Returning home to Colorado, she is reminded of her loss as she encounters a unique character that comes into her life.

"You give every day to be it's own.
When the sparrow falls, Mercy's wings will carry her home.
Be Still and know that I have loved you..."

are just a few of the words that I hope will portray God's constant guard of our lives.

I'm still working on the album. I wish I could have everything done according to my agenda, but obviously God has a better plan. So I continue to yield to his vision and wisdom. Please extend your understanding as we craft for a little while longer.

Thank you for all your prayers, support, and patience.

God Bless,
Victoria
